Technical Engineering manager

We are looking for a skilled Technical Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of engineers, ensure the delivery of high-quality products, and drive technical excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of highly skilled engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement;
• Guide the technical direction of projects, ensuring high standards of quality and timely delivery
• Maintain and oversee a QA proceses, proposing innovative approaches to testing and quality assurance
• Set clear performance goals for the team and provide regular feedback through one-on-one meetings and performance reviews;
• Monitor project progress, identify and address roadblocks, and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines
• Conduct code reviews to maintain software quality and provide constructive feedback to engineers
• Drive initiatives to improve code quality, testing processes, and deployment practices
• Implement and refine development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to enhance team efficiency
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new developers to grow and strengthen the team

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Math, or related technical field
• 5+ years experience in developing and deploying high-quality web applications 
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead or in a similar leadership role
• Understanding in programming languages such as Java, Python, or others
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban or other development methodologies
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Familiarity with cloud-native services like Kubernetes and serverless architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Experience managing live cycle of unit, integration and regression tests
• Strong skills in documentation and complex system design structuring
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Proven ability to lead and maintain QA process, implementing innovative testing practices
